Katherine's First Fashion Show

Little Sister is a design/merchandising major in school.  Last semester, she had to make an outfit from repurposed materials.  Katherine chose grocery bags because Lord knows we have plenty. 

The fashion show was today in honor of Earth Day.  There were so many cool designs:  a wedding gown made from white trash bags and coffee filters, a sundress made from a bedsheet, a dress made from rolled up newspaper, and one made of Chick-Fil-A boxes.  I know all the designers worked hard on their creations and it's great they got a chance to showcase their talents!

 Some of the other pretty outfits!  Repurposed denim dresses are cute.  The second dress was made from black straws.  The second to last dress was black trash bags and colorful gum wrappers.
