It's no secret that Lucas is the most 'fraidy-cat dog in existence. We've only heard him bark a handful of times and he shakes with fear if we slightly raise our voices to him.

What a poor thing, I know.

Apparently Lucas knows his mommy and daddy well enough that he would defend us if need be. Jarred and I were being funny a few nights ago, making growling noises at one another. Lucas didn't seem to like that and kept jumping up trying to nip Jarred's arm. It seems that Lucas thought I was in trouble. Now if someone ever tries to break into our home, I'll have to remember to make a squealing noise and Lou will be right by my side.

I've said before, Louie is scared of our regular camera. But he gets absolutely positively tremendously freaked-the-cuss-word-out when I whip out my cell phone and point it at him. I tried sitting him up in my lap, but he just strains to get away from it. Hilarity ensues.

Oh Lou. You are such a goofball and I love you!

This is my second week participating in Embrace the Camera and this time, I grabbed my 'child' for a quick photo:

Never mind that as soon as I had Jarred snap the picture (on my cell phone) LouieBlue jumped at the noise of the capture tone and a nice struggle ensued. He won with a paw to my eyeball. Major foul Lou.

In Love with a Furball

Terrible quality photo. But nonetheless, you can see why I am completely in love with this dog. She is a cuddling dog if I have ever seen one.

I'm supposed to be giving a pouty bottom lip because she is so dern cute, but it didn't turn out that way. Obviously, my emotions don't transfer well into photos. Drat! There goes my chances at ANTM!

J made a joke about how Baby was having to support her own head for the first time, when she plopped her head down on my shoulder. And crappy pictures ensued.

It never gets old.

I Can't Get Enough...

...of these two. Ah, they are such a team. Baby is always glued to J, and course, I think that is because of all the free belly rubs and goodies. I just don't know who's cuter, him or her!
